Mumbai Railway Vikas Corporation Ltd(MRVC), a Public Sector Undertaking of Govt. of India under Ministry of Railways (MoR), incorporated on 12% July 1999 under Companies Act, 1956, executes the projects under Mumbai Urban Transport Project (MUTP). The Corporation already executed number of suburban rail improvement projects in Mumbai and extended suburbs for enhancing suburban rail transportation capacity. The corporation is also involved in the planning and development of Mumbai Suburban Rail system.

MRVC is looking for dynamic and result oriented candidates for manning the following position for execution of projects in Mumbai Suburban Area on contract basis.

Job Description

As a Project Engineer, you will manage and execute suburban rail improvement projects. After one year of satisfactory performance, the designation will be upgraded to Senior Project Engineer with enhanced benefits.

Position: Project Engineer (Civil)
Discipline: Civil Engineering
Location: Mumbai Suburban Area
Vacancies: 20 (UR: 7, SC: 5, ST: 2, OBC: 4, EWS: 2)

Compensation and Benefits

  • Monthly Emoluments: ₹84,070 (inclusive of Basic Pay, DA, HRA, TA, Provident Fund, and more)
  • Medical Benefits: Reimbursement up to ₹1,300/month for mediclaim policy
  • Leave Policy:
    • Casual Leave: 8 days/year
    • Restricted Holidays: 2 days/year
    • Sick Leave: 10 days every 6 months
    • Special Leave: 12 days/year

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

  • Graduate in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 70% marks from a recognized university.
  • Candidates with Postgraduate qualifications in Engineering or Construction Management will have an added advantage.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience as a Project Engineer or equivalent in PSUs or reputed organizations.

Age Limit:

  • Maximum 30 years as of 14.11.2024 (Relaxation: SC/ST: 5 years, OBC: 3 years).

Selection Process

  1. Screening: Based on academic qualifications and experience.
  2. Interaction & Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification and interaction.
  3. Final Selection: Based on interview performance, academic record, and experience.
