Precautions for steel structure construction in Rain Season:
1. Construction deployment

The project’s main procedures and weather-sensitive procedures should be made technically following the rainy season construction characteristics, and the materials and various machines and tools should be fully prepared. Relevant personnel make a construction plan for the rainy season and provide technical preparations for the construction. 2. Pre-arrangement for steel structure construction
Before starting the rainy season, it is necessary to ensure the smooth flow of information, predict the storm’s severe conditions based on the forecast, and take effective safety measures to strengthen prevention. Reasonably arrange construction according to the weather conditions, arrange work indoors in wind and rain, do a good job of interleaving procedures, and improve work efficiency and construction speed. Protection of raw materials, finished products, and semi-finished products. Carry out regular inspections of the material warehouse and drain the surrounding area to ensure quality and safety. Materials that are too late to be placed outside should be protected by water pumps, plastic sheets, and linoleum in time.
4. Steel structure hoisting
For the steel structure hoisting, the facade net must be hung on the outside of the building, and guard railings must be installed at the entrance of the building’s internal stairs and adjacent sides of the building. Clean up the soil before lifting the steel structure after rain.
For the components to be hoisted, the water on the component’s surface should be cleaned first, especially the component’s friction surface, and the surface layer should be dry. The on-site garbage should be cleaned up in time. If it is not cleaned up in time, the garbage must be covered to prevent it from being washed away by rain. Toxic and harmful garbage must be collected in the classified garbage room on time.
If the wind force is greater than level 5, rain or dense fog, stop the supporting procedures of high-altitude hoisting and installation, such as welding, laying pressed steel plates, wearing high-strength bolts, correcting structures, etc. All electrical equipment and electric boxes should be checked for re-construction after rain. The door of each electric box must be closed and not open.
